End of the Road 2013 Stewarding applications Now Open

Posted on December 17, 2012 at 12:00 PM

In 2013 End of the Road Festival will be looking for 400 volunteer stewards.

A £50 deposit is payable on application. The deposit will be refunded to you in person, on completion of your last agreed shift.

Unfortunately this deposit is necessary to reserve your place and protect the festival. Stewarding at festivals has become very popular. There is now a trend to apply for several events, then choose which ones to attend later in the year once line ups have been announced, or if friends are attending. Effectively this leaves a high drop out rate causing extra administration, and meaning some people cannot get steward places or tickets. (In 2010 over 100 people dropped out or failed to show up for shifts.

To find out more and apply to become a volunteer Steward please visit the official E.O.T.R website

Big Green Coach was established in January 2009 to fill a niche in the market for an ethical, environmentally aware coach company to work closely with music festivals. The fact that coach is the greenest form of getting to a music festival appeared to be an afterthought for other coach companies and we wanted to make the public more aware that they could make a real reduction to the festivals carbon footprint by arriving by coach.

We are the main link between the Isle of Wight and the mainland. Every year, we carry over 5 million passengers, making us one of the UK’s largest domestic ferry operators. We provide Island residents with an easy and frequent service to the mainland, as well as giving millions of holidaymakers from all across the UK and beyond a taste of Island life.

WaterAid is dedicated to its vision of a world where everyone has access to safe water and sanitation. To achieve this vision WaterAid relies on the energy and talents of many people who give their time without receiving any payment. These supporters contribute to WaterAid’s work in many ways including raising funds, organising or speaking at events and providing support in WaterAid offices. WaterAid gains enormous benefit from the contributions of supporters.

Here at The Really Good Bar Company we feel that the customers, performers, crew and everyone involved in creating a great event deserve to be served great drinks well. This is why we work so hard to create a genuinely diverse product range customised to each event we work with. You won’t find homogenised, overpriced products but you will almost certainly discover several new local ales, a good selection of well served draught lagers and ciders, a premium spirit selection, deliciously seasonal cocktails and interesting UK, European & New World wines as well as a good range of soft drinks & juices
